Welcome to IEEE VESIT website. The website provides you all information about IEEE, what IEEE VESIT does, achievements, events and accolades. The website you see is a result of the hard work of every member of council. From coordinators to senior council members, everyone has contributed in some or other way. Because for us, this is just not a contest but is also a place where we try to provide the most to the members. Every year the website gets changed with the start of the contest and every year we try to provide the best to the members so that they can make use of website for information, learning and career building. For this we try to use the best technology available. For this website, we have used ASP.NET for member sections and other database parts so that the features like security, authenticity, speed, easy access and more are integrated into website.

The site has following features:

• The database connectivity and mobile site is made using ASP.NET which is the latest technology introduced by Microsoft.
• We have made a website for blind people. IEEE has always been the initiator. We have tried to follow the tradition and made a website using flash, keyboard interface and audio files for easy interaction with blind people.
• The site is also available in other foreign languages. The objective is to reach to as much people as possible in the world and convey the message of IEEE and IEEE VESIT.
• For members, there is a separate section where they can login and make use of benefits given to them as members.
• W3C is World Wide Web consortium that standardizes tools, scripts and everything that is related to WWW. Our site is validated and standardized by W3C in case of CSS, HTML and accessibility.
• The site is also available on mobile. Considering the increasing use of WAP sites, IEEE VESIT is also available on WAP to stay with the technology.
