The Great Chembur Treasure Hunt

The new semester kicked off with the IEEE-VESIT all Chembur treasure hunt, a pre-membership event open to everyone in the second year.
It had several teams all geared up. Each team was accompanied by an escort - a guide - a bearer of clues to their next adventure.
The HUNT started off from the college campus where the first clue was handed over to the teams. That's where the ACTION began..!!!! Each clue was linked to a well known location in the Chembur area. |
Once a team guessed them and reached their destination, they were assigned some of the simplest,craziest....yet the funniest tasks to be performed, following which the teams could get hold of the next clue...and so on.
The tasks included stuff like....interchanging footwear in the middle of the road, singing crazy songs in a restaurant and moving out immediately, enquiring from strangers on the road about their eyesights....it could'nt get CRAZIER!!!!!!!! If a team could not guess a clue, they were slapped with a ten minute penalty...something which just added to the drama!!!!
The actual moment of seizing the TREASURE witnessed some tension as two teams clashed and almost reached for the treasure at the same time..one of them missing it narrowly!!!!!
In a way... the very first event of the semester provided a real dose of ENTERTAINMENT!!!
What a way to start a new term !
